Iran’s New Ambassador to Korea Presents Copy of Credentials

Ahmad Erfanian, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Korea, met with Kang Sang-wook, Deputy Minister for Protocol Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Seoul, and presented a copy of his credentials
The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, with the two sides exchanging views on bilateral relations and emphasizing the importance of further strengthening and expanding cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Korea
Ambassador Erfanian reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to further strengthen bilateral relations and to make greater use of the existing potential and capacities to advance cooperation between the two countries
The two sides also underscored the importance of continued consultations and engagement, as well as efforts to further consolidate the friendly relations between Iran and the Republic of Korea
