The fourth edition of the Persian Language Speech Contest at Hankuk University was held on 21 November, hosted by the Department of Persian Language and Iranian Studies. Launched in 2022, this competition has become one of the most important programs for promoting the Persian language and Iranian culture in South Korea.
This year’s event was attended by Saeed Kozechi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to South Korea, Ms. Jo Su-Jin, Deputy Director-General for Middle East and Africa at the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as a number of professors and students interested in the Persian language.
In this round, students delivered speeches in Persian in two categories—beginner and advanced showcasing their abilities in expression, grammar, and knowledge of Iranian culture. At the end of the event, the top participants in each category were recognized and awarded prizes.
