The 38th Anniversary of  the Islamic Revolution of Iran

.The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Seoul celebrated the Iranian Islamic Republic Day on February 10 in 2017. The National Day of Iran is celebrated on 11th February each year to mark the Iranian Revolution in 1979. It was established to commemorated overthrowing a monarchical government led by Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

Iran-Korea Silkroad Cultural Festival in Isfahan

11-14 March

The Silkroad Iran-Korea Cultural festival took a place for three days at the Chehel Sotoun Palace of Isfahan, one of the most historical city of Iran. Various events including exhibitions and performances etc. were held to introduce and exchange cultures between two friendly countries. 

The Award Winning Ceremony of the Asian World Music Award- Hussein Alizadeh

The Award Winning Ceremony of the Second Asia World Music Award was held at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Seoul. Ambassador, Hassan Taherian received the award on behlaf of the winner, Hussein Alizadeh, a great Iranian musician.

The Global Gathering, Busan

20 May

The Global Gathering hosted by the Busan City Government and  the Busan International Exchange Foundation was held at the Samrak Riverside  Sports Park in Busan. It is an international event for gathering of locals and expartriats to experience world culture. 125 groups from 40 countries participated and 201 booths were installed. The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran took a part in this event to introduce Iranian food.
